Outsourced marketing isn’t necessarily the right choice for every firm. But I’ll tell you what does make a great candidate for outsourced marketing, it’s a firm that has likely been working with a lot of freelancers over the years. They have someone different doing their copywriting, and their website, and their graphic design. And they have one person at the firm who is supposed to be managing all of that, but they don’t have enough money in their budget to hire a full-blown marketing team internally. So the best candidates for an outsource marketing solution are firms who know they need to do more marketing, they don’t know exactly what they should be doing, but they know they want to grow. As a result, they literally hire PSM and our team, and we’re able to step in, and literally serve as that marketing department that they don’t have.
Now keep in mind that when we do these engagements, we might have six or seven or eight PSM professionals on the team delivering services. So from a cost standpoint, there’s really no way that a client who is working with freelancers anyway, would be able to afford to bring in a full-blown marketing department, like that. So if your firm is interested in growing, you know you wanna grow, but you don’t know exactly what to do, you’re willing to pull a firm in to essentially be your marketing department, then very likely you would be a good candidate for outsource marketing.
